When is the 2022 Ballon d’Or ceremony?

The Ballon d’Or 2022 award ceremony will take place on October 17, 2022 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.

What are the new rules of Ballon d’Or 2022-

This time, the award will be represented based on the main European League season instead of the entire schedule. The award for 2022 will be awarded to players based on their performances during the 2021/22 campaign.

The vote will involve France Football and the best journalists from L’Equipe. Lower FIFA teams are completely excluded from voting. Voting will be based on the contenders’ individual and collective performances throughout the season, keeping “the player’s class” and their “sense of fair play” into account. Player performance will no longer be taken into account from 2022.
