CEBU CITY, Philippines – Officials of Barangay Quiot in Cebu City have announced the resumption of financial aid distribution to victims of Typhoon Odette in the barangay Thursday evening, May 12, 2022, a few days after the 45-day campaign spending ban.

In a post on his official Facebook page, the barangay said those listed as recipients of Lots 4 and 5 of the payout can claim their Odette Financial Aid at Quiot Primary School from 8am on Friday, May 13.

Recipients are also reminded to bring an original and a photocopy of one of their valid IDs with three signatures on the side.

“Vouchers with names on the list will be distributed at the school’s front door,” the post said, stressing that only those whose names are on the list of recipients will be allowed to enter the distribution location. .

The barangay has listed at least 280 beneficiaries under Batch 4 of the payout and no less than 320 names under Batch 5.

As a reminder, the Cebu City Government has received a total of 54 million pula in financial assistance from the national government and other donors for the families affected by Typhoon Odette.

The National Housing Authority, for example, pledged 5,000 pesos per damaged structure, the Department of Social Welfare and Development DSWD gave 1,000 pesos per family member, and the Department of Home Affairs and Communities local. pledged 3,000 pesos for each affected household.

The 45-day campaign spending ban, which began on March 25, was lifted on May 8.
